[GIVEAWAY] Pacific Festival at The Dunes w/ Special Guest: Holy Ghost & More! 8/16

Pacific Festival | Tickets

Next weekend – August 16th – marks the return of Pacific Festival. Hosted inside the Back Bay Dunes of Newport Beach, this festival is a single day of ‘hip’ culture and sound that signifies summer in Southern California. Indie dance pop, sunshine tinged electronics, craft brews, and culinary skill on wheels are brought together to provide you with a day’s respite. There will be returning summer staples with new material (Poolside, Bag Raiders, Miami Horror[LIVE!]) as well as more acts that have been making quite a name for themselves (De Lux, Painted Palms, Cherry Glazerr, among many others).

Don’t think we forgot special guests and in-house favourite Holy Ghost! who are, arguably, at the helm of the post-punk, indie-dance scene. We’ve seen them quite a few times and have yet to be disappointed. Every one of their sets is packed with synth-heavy, melodic, and utterly cool vibes that we wish never end. They’re undoubtedly one of our favorite acts to see live and they’re coming to our home town! More details and contest below!!

HOW TO ENTER

Standard procedure: The contest ends at 12PM Monday August 11th! The more ways you enter below, the better your chance is to win. Be sure to be ready to check your e-mail/twitter, because we’ll be giving it to the first person who responds when the contest is over. See you guys there!

LA’s travelling party palace, A Club Called Rhonda, will also be joining in on the fun. And boy, they can throw a party. Aside from their own digital summer stage that’ll host Moon Boots and Plastic Plates, they’ll be hosting an after party with legend Giorgio Moroder and others just down the street at the Observatory OC. Buy the combined tickets for the Rhondavous here.

On top of all of of this excitement, a portion of the proceeds goes to support the Surfrider Foundation to help protect the California coastline. There really isn’t much of a better reason to boogie down than saving the world.
