After a comeback tour of epic proportions, The Hives are cocked, locked and loaded with the release of their fifth studio album this June! The Swedes have been at it since the early 90s, and haven’t shown signs of tapping out anytime soon. Especially considering how they rocked Coachella after a 10 year hiatus of the festival. Showing the crowd that their mainstage allotment was wholeheartedly earned.

While they battled the fine line between confidence and cockiness, their performance added up to be one of the best of the weekend. Utter and sheer rawness from the get go. Don’t believe me? Watch the video below of their single “Go Right Ahead.” You won’t get sh*t like this at ULTRA or EDC. Just more evidence that The Hives are here to stay, and that rock and roll is alive and well! And hey! Just for sh*ts, here’s the video I got of them at Coachella. The crowd could have been more energized….I’m going to blame it on the fact that it was the last day of the festival, not to mention the hottest. Anyway, it didn’t keep me or the band from going crazy. I love this stuff!
