Temple Days | Tickets

Last year, we attended The Do Lab’s Lucent Temple of Consciousness Temple Days Pre-Party and were astounded by the spirituality and synchronicity of everything. This year, the eye-opening LIB pre-event touches down at Wanderlust Hollywood for 12 hours of workshops, yoga and movement, food, art and musical performances designed to expand the heart and open the mind.

This year’s event will host speaker headliners John Perkins and Dream Rockwell, and music from DJ Tasha Blank, among many others. Many of these speakers will be at LIB as well; however, Temple Days provides a rush-free and guilt-free atmosphere by which one can absorb the totality of each artist’s message. If ever you’ve been interested in going deeper into free thought, this is an event specially curated for you.

Temple Pre-Party | Tickets

One of the things that sets LIB apart from all the other festivals is the Lucent Temple of Consciousness – where the true “transformative” power of the festival comes from. Unfortunately, upon the festival grounds, the internal strife usually wins in the favor of live music. Luckily, the Do Lab offers a Temple Pre-Party leading up to the Memorial Day Weekend festivities. The pre-event is a 12-hour urban retreat on Sunday, May 3rd at The Springs LA that will give a small preview of the holistic lectures, workshops, yoga and movement, food, art, live performance, and, of course, music of the Lucent Temple of Consciousness that will be present in Bradley, CA.

This year’s LIB Temple will feature an expanded Learning Kitchen, Healing Sanctuary, Meditation Nest, Mystery School, Pineal Playground, two yoga tents, and world-class lecturers. If you’re at all interested in learning new skills and new things about yourself, then we strongly suggest you stop by either the pre-Temple event or the actual Temple of Consciousness at LIB.

Lightning in a Bottle • Tickets

We’re one day close to our home that is The Do Lab’s Lightning in a Bottle festival. Last year, we experienced something positively life-changing. And we wanted more. The lineup announcement for 2015 is definitely promising that. On top of this star-studded lineup that is still staying true to LIB’s bassy roots, they’re making improvements upon the logistics. That means less overheated trudging and more temperate dancing. We can live with that.

The festival will be returning to the lovely San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley, CA. Hopefully there will be some water to swim in this time around. Regardless, we can hardly contain our excitement. Tickets are still available. Though with a lineup this spectacular, there’s no guarantee for how much longer. Buy your tickets and come see what all the fuss is about!

There’s no denying that An-Ten-Nae was one of our faves at LIB 2013. Since then, he’s partnered up with Re|eece to create music as Dimond Saints. Under this moniker, the two are mashing future beats with the deep bass sound that LIB prides itself on. It’s easy to get lost in the rhythm. Just how we like it.

Lightning In A Bottle | Lineup | Tickets | Set Times

Hopefully you’ve been with us long enough to understand our praise for Chet Faker. What started as one of Flume’s consistent collaborators, turned into one of the most promising voices of the underground. He may look grungy and intimidating with that wicked beard, but you’ll have to refrain from judging this book by its cover. This Aussie puts out one of the most emotionally confident voices that just seems to put us at ease. His downtempo beats come off as a lullaby in recording, but pack a very unique groove when performed live. (Check after the jump for his Boiler Room set.) All of this bundled with his staggering debut album Built On Glass had him make our list of the best underground acts of 2014.

He’s set to go off at 7:40 on Sunday, which is bound to be one of the best sunset performances of the weekend.
