POSTILJONEN are Swedes Daniel Sjörs, Joel Nyström Holm, and Norwegian Mia Bøe. Their music is a tribute to escaping the buzz and pausing for a spell of daydreaming. Like M83 or Sigur Ros, their sound is best classified as ambient shoegaze or dream-pop. The soaring soundscapes partner perfectly with cerebral repose. Even better: they film positively captivating music videos. Their debut Skyer comes out on July 22 through Best Fit Recordings. Stream it for free here.

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs

UK Garage meets UK Deep House by way of an encounter between the brothers Lawrence and Mr. Higginbottom. The result is nothing short of totally enormous. TEED throws out his trade mystery house beat, choice horns and some eerie marimba to re-haul Disclosure’s hit, F For You, into a track that’s fit for a dark room full of shuffling bodies. Curses! | Drop the Lime | $10 Tickets to LA show!

Luca Venezia’s other identity, Curses, allows him to take a storied turn from the rock & roll inspired breakbeat that he has become known for with Drop the Lime. He dropped off the map circa 2009 and has since been shrouded in mystery; until just recently. He maintains his choppy bass style but puts down the rockabilly guitar for “New Gotham House” synths. With his revival of Curses, Luca continues to flirt with the dark and mysterious side of the underground as is evident in the mix below. Marble Music just released his newest 2-side EP, So Good.

ODESZA is the joint project of Seattle based BeachesBeaches and Catacombkid. Their solo projects are known for their downtempo dream-hop productions. With two heads in the game as ODESZA, they are able to delve deeper into a more ethereal sound. They play around with fleeting basslines, airy melodies and choppy vocals to arouse a sense of peace and relaxation. You can download their debut here for free.

The Neighbourhood | I Love You

You’d think with an amazing album just released and a performance at Coachella under the belt, the Neighbourhood would take a rest. Instead, Jesse and his hoodlums are at it again releasing new tracks that are pure lyrical gold. Sometimes, there is just no stopping the flow of art. To solidify the fact that they are devoted to their cause, the Neighbourhood are releasing songs as additions to shows of “The Love Collection” national tour with Lovelife, The 1975, FourNames, and JMSN.

HVOB

We touched base with Anna Müller and Paul Wallner of HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys) to express our gratitude for their amazing album, and they gifted us with an exclusive mix that we’re delighted to share with you. It’s 63 minutes of house that seamlessly blends the songs on their debut album, along with other rhythmic inspirations and remixes available on their EPs. It showcases the duo’s tremendous talent at mixing and sheds a whole new light on the sound we fell in love with. It’s safe to say that we’re waiting with bated breath to see them in a live setting.
