Happy Sunday party people. With the 104th installment of the weekly YOLO list, I bring good news. Orange County is finally shaping up with big events, but few compare with Insomniac’s fresh event series installment at Ten Nightclub. Now I know that this club has had roughly 30 name changes in the last year, but I’m pretty sure Ten is here to stay. With major renovations including a 360 LED wall and big name artists finding their way to this intimate venue, shit is about to get real. Real quick too. Tonight they bring C+A+D favorite and their heaviest hitter yet: ZEDS DEAD. (Supported by our homies Slander). Online presale is sold out, but tickets will still be sold at the door so get their early! Grab the tracks after the jump and get hyped. Enjoy #104:

Alright guys…good to be back. For all who hadn’t noticed, I wasn’t able to get up a playlist last week after I got back from EDC. It was straight to the books for my last set of finals before I graduated from college! Crazy. Life is happening. I hate to make excuses, but hell, I’m not perfect. Neither are you! But that’s ok. I still love you. SO much so, that I’ve gathered up twice the usual amount of energizing tunage for this week’s list. Thought this one deserved to be special, because I finally hit the century mark. It feels like just yesterday when I got back from Audiotistic 2010 and did YOLO2 in the wee hours of the night because I couldn’t fall asleep. It was from that moment on that I knew I would want to do this for as long as possible. I just love music so much, and sharing it with like minded people just never gets old.
Oh by the way! Got a treat for our Southern California readers. There is a line of free shows headed our way in July: Moby, Portugal. the Man, Band of Skulls, and Raphael Saadiq. Alls you have to do is RSVP by clicking here! Pretty cool, huh? Just a lil summin’ summin’ to fill up your spare time this summer. It’s setting up to be a damn good one! Until then, enjoy #100.

Alright guys…good to be back. For all who hadn’t noticed, I wasn’t able to get up a playlist last week after I got back from EDC. It’s pretty much a dream come true, especially for people who didn’t want to or couldn’t get Coachella tickets. Watch out for the pre-sales and whatnot because a lot of those are going to sell out as soon as they go on sale. Hit the jump for more:

Thanks to everyone who came out and know this is just the beginning. Always moving forward with what you want to do. No “trying” or “hoping.” Those words leave too much room for failure. Scrap ’em! Well! In an effort to reunite & rekindle those connections, under the banners of Creativity & Community we invite you to join us.
The FIRST FRIDAY of every month at Proof Bar will host a unique blend of art in it’s various forms. Our hope is that this night will not only inspire those looking to pursue a creative craft, but also reinvigorate the exhibiting artists to keep doing what they so beautifully do. A little positivity goes a long way; come get your re-up once a month!
All good music. All good people. All good things. We’re putting all the pieces together to have a legit, open-minded atmosphere in our area since LA and SD get all of the fun! We had a party the other night themed “End of the World,” and although people didn’t really know what to wear, it got them thinking. What if the world really was to end tomorrow? Are you happy with where you are in life? Have you been making sure your life is the best it can possibly be? Are you too focused on planning for life to be better in the future? The thing I always think about is the possibility of freak occurrences. At any given time, something completely out of our control could happen. I just want to make sure that if it happens, I had made the most out of every last second. You only live once, ya know. Some food for thought: (Thanks Buddha)
