This guy has been flying under the radar for the past year; getting claim and respect from all the outlets and artists that know their shit. But yesterday and today mark a new chapter to the life of Charlie Yin’s R&Bass alias.
While being freshly listed as direct support for Porter Robinson’s highly anticipated WORLDS tour the other day, he was just added to the ranks of A-Trak’s Fools Gold Records. To celebrate these announcements, Charlie released a booming remix of R. Kelly’s Ignition that’s sure to make it’s rounds this summer. He took a break from his usual low key vibe on tracks to put a little more hype into this release. The floaty arpeggios slam into the old school synths and give life to this classic track in a whole new way.
