AMTRAC | Bit Funk

After our first night in the heart of Hollywood last week, it seems all is well on the horizon. We were just anxious to finally get started! With each passing week, we strive to tighten all the loose bolts; creating the perfect night. It’s all about the experience with the Polaroid Thursdays. Well our quest to perfection wouldn’t be complete without quality talent. That’s why for our second show we’ve got debatably our best lineup: Amtrac & Bit Funk. I had the pleasure of finally catching Amtrac throw down a high energy set at SXSW. Meeting him shortly thereafter in the pit for Disclosure only heightened my respect for this Florida native. Bit Funk will set the tone early with his grooving basslines and dream like records.

Breakbot | Bondax | Private Label

Our whole crew has been waiting for this since we first caught wind of Breakbot heading stateside. I’d be lying if I said we were waiting patiently…If the sole fact that Breakbot playing wasn’t enough to coax you to buy a ticket early, surely Bondax and Irfane did it, right? No, you say? What were you thinking! You weren’t, were you? We want to help. Private Label Fridays ends their second season with its best night yet! Bondax is one of the world’s most sought after underground duos, and Irfane is that soulful voice you hear on many of Breakbot’s biggest tracks. This is going to be a hell of an occasion.

Here we are! Almost three years after a simple idea was implemented, giving birth to C+A+D. Through the additions and subtractions of our family, the same idea still holds true: do whatever it takes to make your dreams a reality. You just have to remember to be patient, and in time, you will have or be whatever you want.

While continuing our seemingly endless journey to living a meaningful life, we give you our latest project Polaroid Thursdays. One of the best parts about putting on our own shows is not having to ask to giveaway tickets, let alone the amount! Skrillex and Boys Noize are sharing the stage at Coachella this year? I must be dreaming. But I’m not, Dog Blood is real. What is Dog Blood? Dog Blood is the new collaboration between the aforementioned electronic music heavyweights. This project is truly unique in that each has such a defined sound within a different genre…The collab seems out of left field. Dog Blood released their Middle Finger EP in August featuring two songs: Next Order and Middle Finger. Surprisingly, they decided to go a heavier house route with the sound. This is despite the usual dubstep and intricate techno we’ve come to know from the respective artists. I think it’s fair to say that the super group that is Dog Blood will ignite the Sahara tent with a fresh twist of two different backgrounds. Check after the jump for the full scoop on this project.

It’s been awhile since we’ve done an interview, because we only do it with artists we truly believe in. Artists that step off the beaten path and create something universal. A sound that anyone with an open mind can appreciate. As you can imagine these artists are few and far between.
