It’s been nearly a year since the release of Tourist’s emotionally stirring Patterns EP. Born around the London
UK garage electronica movement, his music carries pop patterns akin to Disclosure and Sam Smith (they co-wrote ‘Stay With Me’) but with far more Balearic swells. When we caught him at LIB he impressed us with his passionately poetic progressions. It was a liberating experience, to say the least. He’ll be bringing his LIVE setup to Coachella.

Join us as Tourist’s signature slow builds wash over us on Saturday. We expect a few vocal guests and features from his forthcoming August release.

We still remember the occasion that was Tensnake’s debut of Glow a year ago. Album single ‘No Relief’ made it into almost every playlist and mix we listened to or curated. The album in general was great for after-hours maxing. Much of his production is, for that matter, well suited for beach-breezy post-parties.

Listening to his growth since tropical disco’s champion ‘Coma Cat’ came out over 5 years ago has been quite the adventure; seeing him at the City Steps stage will bring it all back around for us.

The mastermind behind easy-on-the-ears Washed Out, Ernest Greene, is no stranger to mellow electronic sounds. On 3/6, he’ll be playing a wayfaring (see what I did there?) DJ set for our WAVS series. For the past few years he’s been busy on the tour circuit, it’ll be nice to see what he’s got cooking for the future. Support from Torosbros and Jared Lawrence will help spur the aimless wonder.

George Maple has a most infectious voice. She’s built a name for herself as the vocalist on various hit tracks like Flume’s ‘Bring You Down’ and Snakehips’ ‘On & On’. As a solo act backed by pristine production, she takes more of a silky smooth trip-hop future-pop foray into sound.

Her breakout single ‘Talk Talk’ garnered much acclaim thanks to her heartbreak lullaby and Flume’s mellowed production. Catch her at the Ocean View Live stage. She’ll also be at SXSW the week after!

UK duo Maribou State have been known for their inventive productions for the better part of 3 years. Their remix of Ultraista’s ‘Gold Dayzz’ still finds its way into our late night playlists. Yet, a busy touring schedule means new material comes rather sparse.

You could thus figure our excitement when new single ‘Rituals’ advertised their debut, Portraits, coming out later this year. ‘Rituals’ is a minimal dance track with atmospheric acoustics and mysterious vocals that further validates their unconventional allure. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the album has in store for us.

In the realm of female producers, Alison Wonderland holds her own as one of the more badass girls in the game. With a rather prolific career learnt from a background in classical, a coming of age in rock, a solo move to DJing in front of thousands, and an extremely anticipated vocal-featured LP on the way, she’s more than earned her place on this lineup.

Australia can already attest to her high-energy sets (we had major FOMO during the Wonderland Warehouse Project). But having seen her at a secret house party in LA, we can say that she puts a very exacting effort into keeping the room alive. And that was just a house party. Imagine the painstaking care she’s putting into her Coachella appearance. Suffice it to say, don’t be surprised when she blows your mind on Saturday. We’ll be right there with you.
