Finally some action on the end of the clown-crew best known by their Duck Sauce moniker. I first heard this track over three years ago at EDC when Duck Sauce debuted in southern California. I’ll never forget that night, let alone every other time I’ve seen them. This song incorporates just about everything I love about the duo: it’s fun, it’s funky, and it has a vintage sample that forces you to sing along. Awhile ago A-Trak tweeted something along the lines of “this duck is finally fully roasted if you catch my drift,” so hopefully that means we’ll get more singles ’til the album drops next year!

Having missed out on Take 2 Entertainment’s christening of Boatylicious on America’s birthday weekend, we had high hopes that a followup concert cruise would surface. As luck would have it, our prayers were answered when the second installment was announced. The team at Take 2 have gathered a crew of premium musicians to help us end our summer right. Now, Treasure Fingers, Plastic Plates, and Amtrac are teaming up for a summer disco party at one of our favorite nightlife spots. To put it quite simply, we support September the 6th. Hot Natured | Buy Different Sides of the Sun

The quadruple threat that makes up Hot Natured just released their debut album Different Sides of the Sun. It’s an ambitious blend of modern pop and traditional house. That doesn’t come as a surprise when you consider the men behind the moniker. Each of them powerhouses in their own game; Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Luca C, and Ali Love joined forces in 2010 with the intentions of bringing skilled electronic production to the poppier-dancehall masses.

Their 2012 track Benediction topped charts all over the UK and highlighted exactly what they had planned. A more recent single, Reverse Skydiving featured the vocals of the lovely Anabel Englund and set the style up for success in the States. Different Sides of the Sun is 15 tracks of simple and catchy soul with fiery passion. The standout tracks prove that this is a music style worth paying attention to.

IHC Presents | Event Info | RSVP HERE

As Oliver’s meteoric rise to the top of dance music trudges on, they continue to slay festivals and clubs. The Los Angeles duo will be spinning a hometown show at Drai’s IHC Sundays tonight! I’ve had the pleasure of catching a few of Oliver’s shows this year and every time it’s a very different and unique set. I can’t wait to hear the fresh batch of funk they throw down tonight!

Before Oliver takes to the decks, Mighty Mouse will be overseeing the ones and twos. You can expect a signature disco sound reverberating from wall to wall. Tickets can be purchased online for guaranteed entry or RSVP for free entry before 11pm. The pool will be open and they will have pool toys if you’re not too cool to get a little wet. As far as I can tell the only dress code “rule” is that you can’t wear a tank top unless it’s designer or you’re Oliver/Mighty Mouse. Hope to see some familiar faces up on the rooftop tonight!
