Remix Artist Collective

Two years and some change after Hollywood, RAC has finally released another original: Let Go. It features two amazing vocalists [Kele Okereke and MNDR] and is a disco-pop hit ripe with RAC’s trademark happy melodies. Just as with Hollywood, there are lyrically wistful undertones that add a uniquely human touch.

The trio has also started out on a live tour. We’re hoping they bring out the extended family that they’ve remixed along their journey. That’d make for such an awesome show. Anyway, the single is out tomorrow. Stream it below.

Ernest Greene has used his second full-length release opportunity to shift to a more organic sound. He has incorporated antique instruments to re-envision the nebulous music we’ve grown to love à la Life of Leisure and Within and Without. While Paracosm has decidedly ambient and psychedelic leanings due to the lessened presence of electronic beat samples, it does maintain Greene’s dreamy and buoyant vocations. IHC Presents | Event Info

August is quite possibly our favourite month. The summer heat starts to die down and helps us all gather ourselves for a second wind full of marvelous music, wicked weather and long nights with perfect people. This weekend our dose of live music is thanks to Gary and the good folks at HARD. To top it all off, A-Trak and Cashmere Cat will be playing an unofficial HARD Summer after-party on Sunday. Thanks to our friends at IHC, Sunday night will definitely be going off with some downright funky electronic R&B and bass-hop.

Now we know HARD is hosting their own special after-party at Exchange and that it goes until 6am. But they obviously won’t have A-Trak and Cashmere Cat spinning. What more? IHC Sundays is a rooftop party. With a pool. And heated water. And pool toys. And we’ve got some free tickets for you.

I’d been pining for music with an unforgettable 50’s sound. After a generous bout of serendipity, Londoners Amelia Rivas and Christian Pinchbeck of Elephant have answered my call. The duo channel bedroom doo wop oh-so-well. Amelia’s wavy vocals backed by Christian’s haunting impressions make for lovers’ rock that is enchanting. Irresistible.
