It’s been quite the year for our friends at Private Label. We’ve heard music ranging from the flowing funk of Breakbot, the brooding house of Curses, and the tropical disco of the French Express. All in all, 2013 has been a breakout year for Private Label and we’re proud to have been a part of building a primary contender for Friday night shenanigans in LA. Private Label will be closing out the year this Friday. And in typical fashion, they’ve brought out a heavy hitter for the finale: Passion Pit. Our friends at GDD will be supporting acts. Passion Pit

The Massachusetts quartet is highly regarded for their dreamy indietronica music. We remember first listening to Chunk of Change and being blown away by the whimsical falsettos and eclectic instrumentation. Since then, they’ve played huge shows all over the world (we’ve had the privilege of catching a few of these shows – and wow). This’ll be the first time we’ve seen them perform a DJ set. Judging from the remixes that they’ve put out, we can say that their set will make for quite a funky finale for Private Label 2013.
