Season 6 of Private Label is opening with a bang. Daedelus and Nosaj Thing will be providing the hypnotic sounds. Both artists are known for haunting synths and heavy percussion. While this isn’t something we’d expect from Private Label, we aren’t complaining. Both, after all, are among the better electronic acts we’ve seen. Low Limit and Astronautica will be warming us up. It’s an LA natives party. Check out the songs after the jump..

Music
Daedelus
Coming off the release of Drown Out, LA native Alfred Darlington will be bringing his mazey music to lure us in. It is a mixture of feel-good bass and synths you can lose yourself in. He is a master at creating a musical adventure. No matter how many times we listen to his music, we always hear something new. Which is why we love it.
Nosaj Thing
We recently saw Nosaj at FYF. It was great. He’s been mixing in more hip-hop style percussion on top of his spacey, droning synths. His style of music makes for a nice atmospheric vibe. But don’t fret if you think you’ll get bored – the heavy and melodic bass is undoubtedly addicting and warrants movement.
Low Limit
A regular of the LA scene, Low Limit mixes anything and he does it well. Expect more of a hip-hop, rap-centric set this Friday.
Astronautica
Edrina Martinez is an LA pup through and through. She’s been all around SoCal spreading her unique west-coast beats style. We’ve no doubt she’ll bring the fun to Lure.
