LA’s longest running weekly party is back again this Thursday with an especially awesome lineup. Dance Right sticks to getting the most fun DJs and caters to an overwhelmingly comfortable atmosphere. Everyone there is trying to get down and meet new like-minded people. I love that shit. Last time I was there, Treasure Fingers took the decks and I ended up losing my hat, phone, and took a cab back from LA to Orange County even though my car was down the street. Too much fun? As if a guaranteed good time wasn’t enough to convince you, I’ll let the talent win you over. Oliver is the only artist that I ended up getting every song off of their SoundCloud after being introduced. Nothing says indie disco goodness like an Oliver track. Remix or original. If you’ve kept up with the recent YOLO Lists you’ve definitely grooved to one of their beats. After manning the opening set for Chromeo’s last tour and the recent release of their Dirty Talk EP (BUY), this isn’t going to be a set to miss. Another thing worth noting: Rory Phillips. Instead of using headphones, dude uses a corded phone. Makes me lol.
