Woah! I’m at 60 weeks. Every week trips me out. Feels good to still be at it, and I got a heap of new treats this week. Lots of great artists are releasing albums very soon! Clap Your Hands Say Yeah‘s album is exactly the push forward they needed as a group. Haven’t sounded any better! And the CSS album took me by surprise. Girl singer throws down, so give it a shot. Got some standout tracks from both albums in the list. This week’s is a little indie heavy but I got some quality electronic tunes that I’ve been bumping all week. Hope you like it as much as I do.

YO! Not too much new music this week. Got a lot to say about how surprisingly great IDentity Festival‘s stop at Chula Vista was in a few days, and some pretty sweet upcoming shows. For one: Bart B More is coming to Orange County at the Yost Theatre for limited $10 tickets (here) on Wednesday. For two: thee sebastiAn is coming to Control at Avalon with Sharooz and HARD’s Destruco on Friday! I’m 100% going to this, in fact I just bought my ticket. Get yours here and come chill. SebastiAn barely ever comes to LA and it’s usually for HARD events, so don’t let this slide. Enjoy the list!

Mad Decent Block Party made it’s final stop at the city of angels yesterday, and everything went better than expected! I don’t know if I had low expectations because of it being free, all ages, in LA, or the whole ‘DJ’ Kaskade thing that happened the other week, but it ended up being one of the coolest free events I’ve been to! Parking was a bitch and so were the lines..usual pains. I was able to look past that with Dillon Francis throwing down an absolutely killer set, all the sponsors hooking everyone up with free gear, and the dodgeball area was the best. I hadn’t played dodgeball since my preteen years so that was a bit of a throwback. My only qualm of the day was the guy who went out of his way to write on a shirt “If you shuffle you are a faggot.” I know I’m just feeding the beast by acknowledging him…….but fuck that guy. Fuck anyone who tries to be extra controversial especially at other peoples’ expense. I really hate that stuff. But yeah just wanted to get that off my chest haha enjoy the list! YOLO

But yeah! Fresh off HARD Summer, and I just don’t even know what to think. It was something of a dream. I know it sounds corny, but I’ll write up a review with the best sets, you’d be surprised. I got so many good videos from everyone I saw too! Unreleased tracks yeaahh. I’ll be loading those up as soon as possible. HARDFEST continues to push the scene forward. Goooood morning friends and fam. I usually don’t like to feel regretful of anything, because there’s no point in dwelling about something that’s out of your hands. BUT! I didn’t go to Audiotistic last night, and I really wish I did. I remember coming home last year and writing the second YOLO list after one of the craziest parties I’d ever been to. Bassnectar, Kid Cudi, A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, Harvard Bass, Kill the Noise..NOS Event Center is the best place for events like that, due to it’s sheer size and set up. The warehouses all surround this huge lake that Insomniac decks out with the most insane light fixtures you’ll ever see. DAMMIT! Next year…….besides, HARD Summer is FINALLY less than a week away, and I’m definitely ready. Let’s hang out!

Here are some videos I got from Audio last year just for sh*ts. It’ll definitely give you a good feel of how good I said it was. The best part about the whole thing was that you could walk all the way to the front of the warehouses if you wanted. I was right on the fence for A-Trak and Treasure Fingers. Gahhhhh:
