Happy Sunday! Good to be back. I feel like so much has happened since last week. Two huge leaps forward in the works for C+A+D as a whole. Feel like it could be really cool when we do it right! Stick with us. Oh and so many shows. Be there such a thing: Digitalism, Mord Fustang, Kendrick Lamar/Dom Kennedy/Casey Veggies, then Deadmau5/Murphy/Proxy for free? Knife Party’s first EP is being released today for free! I was fortunate enough to get a listen to this last week and I have NOT been able to let this one down. Massive dubstep track that blasts through really good speakers. Kinda reminds me of Skrillex + Rusko. I’m obsessed. Get the full EP here.

Zeds Dead…these f*ckin’ guys blew my mind at Haunted Mansion this year. They played a lot of their original tracks that hit SO hard live. This one is no different. When it drops to dub in the middle, I die. Expecting big things from them in 2012.

Boys Noize released a compilation album of 24 remixes that he’s done over the years. Some we’ve heard. A lot we haven’t. All of them unique in their own right. Boys Noize proves once again that time has no effect on his production abilities. The release is out in the UK and France for now, but will be out in the US and internationally later this month.

Bingo Players have a knack for putting out some of the most quality house tracks out of everyone. I love their sound! Has a kind of feel to it that makes you want to be in an arena with 100k people. This song is no “Cry (Just A Little),” but it’s just as dancy if not more.

TGIK is awesome! Don’t really know what genre he falls into because he tends to mix it up a lot. His synths cut to the core, and this little track is a lot of fun. More for summer time, but hopefully it brings y’all some warmth in this gloomy winter.

Happy Sunday everyone! Just content on being alive after back to back nights with Porter Robinson at Sutra in OC and Boys Noize at the Music Box in LA. Bummed I had to miss Porter last night with The M Machine, but his show at Sutra made up for it in more ways than one. Did anyone go to the Music Box last night? How was it?? Boys Noize was sold out on Friday, but there was still a lot of room to party/dance. Though, I have a feeling it was a bit crazier last night considering Porter’s recent boosts.

ALSO! I used to think you can only dream about news like this. Black Keys announce a North American tour that is being backed up by opening sets from ARCTIC MONKEYS!! That’s the kind of rock revival tour this country needs. Every stop is going to be at an arena. Kinda bums me out that I never got to see Black Keys or Arctic Monkeys at a more intimate venue. I doubt I’ll get that opportunity, but I’ll keep dreaming! Shit part is, all the shows out are on the east coast. WHY! I’ve never been to NY though. Almost willing to fly there for this. Party people! Sorry for the lag on this one. Been having some connections issues, but without further ado, here’s #71! And with me I bring some pretty epic news. Starting small, Porter Robinson is playing in OC at Sutra for $20 limited presale tickets. Trying to make this a big one for everyone in the area, especially since his show in LA sold out before I even had a chance to notice they were on sale. Get tickets here. Hurry!

What I’m most excited about is FINALLY the announcement of a Justice North American tour!!! The first electronic show I ever saw was Diplo and Justice at the Mayan in 2008. Shortly thereafter, everything about this music made sense, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. One of the highest energy and most fun livesets I’ve ever been a part of. Since this tour is in support of the release of Audio, Video, Disco, we can expect a revamped liveshow to match. AH! One thing you’ll notice is the lack of Southern California dates. Before I turned to snapping my laptop in half, it all hit me. They have dates coincidentally around SoCal during the first and second weekends of Coachella. I think it’s safe to say that the pioneers of modern day electronic and rock will find themselves in Indio come April. Scope their stops after the jump.

Woah! Just hit me that it’s been 70 straight weeks since I started doing these guys. Also realized that I have to take a moment to reflect on how long I’ve been doing these every ten lists. But fuck it! Maybe at some point it’ll be at every hundred lists….I don’t see an ending in the foreseeable future, but then again, it’s hard to see the future so I’m playing it by ear. I focused on a few releases this past week that I’m really happy to share! Happy Sunday friends and fam! I bundled up ten solid tracks this week that I’m pretty excited about. The Black Keys track is a kickin single off their upcoming album, NEW OIZO, Florence and the Machine album came out of nowhere…but I got it! And it’s just as epic as you’d expect.
