I don’t know what the deal is with all these good indie dance bands coming around recently, especially considering the fact we keep getting tickets to give away for them! Goldroom & Yuksek are set to bring the smooth funk they’re known for to the Central in LA. I’ve seen Goldroom before. Exactly what you’d expect if you know his stuff. Yuksek I love, but I have yet to see. So I want to hear about it Mr. or Mrs. Future-Contest-Winner!

I actually signed up to see Fred Falke and Flight Facilities that same night closer to my home in Costa Mesa. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE THE SAME NIGHT!? Turns out Flight Facilities and Yuksek are supposed to open for The Presets with OLIVER directly after their respective sets at the smaller clubs. Talk about a busy night… I’d do it if I made music! One of the most rewarding parts of having C+A+D, other than being able to share music and information with you all, is helping out bands we really love. Starfucker is debatably the most fun band I have ever seen perform live. The energy at one of their shows can’t be compared. They’re wizards with their synths and wonder-workers with the turn tables.
