Betatraxx

On the int3rwebz, it seams that… writers expose new music, in general, to applause. Occasionally, new music doesn’t merit praise. In fact, sometimes an anticipated piece of work deserves criticism.

In this case, Betatraxx’s new EP, “X”, is just shwatever.

In my opinion, only the first song out of six on Betatraxx’s new EP is half decent. The other 5 are squabbly excuses of traveling sound waves.

Sunny afternoons, beautiful girls and bangin music, Santa Barbara is the place to be. Two producers are all over that scene.

Crusin down Pacific Coast Highway, the horizon lighting up in a fiery blaze; gunmetal paint glistening. Eq set, bass heavy. Nothing beats Sunday afternoons, lazy beaches, cold brews, and fresh beats. Straight from the source, I give you Betatraxx. He delivers so well you’d think he works for FedEx. You can catch him at the West Beach Festival in Santa Barbara, September 24th/25th.

Kelis – 4th of July (Betatraxx Remix) <- ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Destroying the mashup scene, Milkman is taking it over the top. He released ‘Lactose and THC’ in January of 2008, which you can pick up for free here. A year and a half later he dropped his masterpiece, ‘Circle of Fifths’. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Daft Punk, Notorious BIG, Atmosphere, The Who; anything you can think of, he’s done it.
