YO! As if that new Duck Sauce wasn’t enough to make the day great, our newest writer also makes his debut on team C+A+D. This kid’s a searcher so fasten your fuckin’ seatbelts and get ready to be launched into the depths of the freshest electro bangers to call the internet home.

Hello! Mr. Vos here super stoked to get to share some great music with interested minds! I’m really big into moombah now, some ambient more-laid back stuff, and of course tasty tasty electro jams. I DJ weekly at a nightclub in Santa Cruz, CA under the name Mr. Vos, and you’ll be able to find me on facebook and Soundcloud with some sets I’ve done.

End shameless self-promotion.

I’ve been in LOVE with this track since I first heard it in the Hard mix a few weeks back. That signature Dillon Francis. bounciness, without the slow dragging feel that so many Moombahton edits and tracks have right now. Perfect for summer. This is the ORIGINAL Dillon track.

Been eagerly awaiting more BeatauCue, his stuff always seems to be top notch in production and creativity. He teamed up with the bubbly Shinichi Osawa on this one, and the result is surprising-a hard driving heavy electro-house tune. This is one kids will get sweaty to.
BeatauCue – H.O.W.L (feat. Shinichi Osawa)

Finally, we have a new(er) remix of a decent Johnny Love tune, brought to you by the fine Canadians known as Torro Torro. What you get is a a big tribal drum wrapped around KILLER vocals and a blaring synth. Watch these guys, they’ll be huge by next summer.
Johnny Love- The Switch (Torro Torro Remix)

To wrap up my first post here on Ctrl+Alt+Delight, here’s a teaser video from one of my favorites, Gesaffelstein. Can’t wait to catch him in L.A. for HARD Summer with the rest of the team. That’s going to be huge.

Seemed to have missed this one over the weekend, but the point is it’s finally lodged safely in my library. I’m just glad to be rocking out to this and it’s not even too late for McDonald’s breakfast yet. I don’t have much else to say that I haven’t already said in the first post I did about this song when it got ripped off Radio 1. There’s no denying how oddly catch this song is, but I just know they can do way better. Which is why I’m excited for the album! This is definitely gonna hold me off for a little while. Maybe one more remix or something before HARD Summer? PLEASE

Happy Sunday friends. On my way back from a real Vegas trip so I can start studying for my midterm tomorrow…..all good though. Whatever I get on this test will be worth it. Got to see Morgan Page at Rain night club in the Palms. Probably one of the coolest clubs I’ve been to. They had straight up cirque du soleil performers hanging off the cieling, robots on stilts doing the robot, pyrotechnics that were a bit much because of how hot it was, and the standard LED light wall. Definitely way better than Marquee which is supposedly the best club on the strip. Pretty overrated if you ask me, but I could be biased because they kicked me out for having too much fun. Anyway here’s #51. Got some fresh tunes for you all this week. Enjoy!

It’s 4 AM. I can’t seem to find the means to sleep. I’m just too excited for this weekend and I’m really pumped on this release. Foster the People gave out yet another remix of “Pumped Up Kicks” on their facebook. I know we’re up to our neck in remixes of these guys, especially of this song, but this one is just as good and unique as any. I’m proud to say that another artist from my hometown is finally getting recognized for their talents. Jason Suwito of Irvine, Ca has been involved with many musical endeavors and seems to have found his niche in Polaris At Noon. Gave “Pumped Up Kids” a poppy rework and turned it into a dance fiends dream. Give it a gooooooo

They left us without the recording of Swedish House Mafia‘s live set from EDC this year…arguably the best set of the weekend. Fortunately for us, NartNoside took the hit and recorded the whole set with a pretty great quality camera! Reminds me of when I recorded all of Soulwax’s set from HARD Summer 2010. The only thing with that was the battery ran out right at the end without saving any of the video. 45 minutes of taking turns holding the camera went to waste. Now that set is a pleasant memory shared only by the people who were there. Haha this is cool though! Dig it. Download it. Share it.

Happy Sunday friends. Pretty happy to say I’ve made it 50 weeks with these lists, and I don’t see an end to this anytime soon. Lots to be excited about that’s coming up real fast: HARD Summer, Outside Lands, A-Trak/Treasure Fingers at Wavehouse, Deadmau5 @ Palladium…woah. I think I’m excited for Outside Lands the most. There’s such a diverse amount of damn good acts, and plus, I love San Francisco. Decided against Audiotistic so Flux and Doctor P better be coming to LA soon. I’m still working to put on shows and may have landed an opportunity for a massive Orange County fest! I’ll keep everyone posted. Don’t forget to open your minds for these lists! Enjoy 50:

Got word today about this and I’m pretty ecstatic to say the least. I’d say 80% ecstatic and 20% nervous, because I don’t want to get my hopes up too high for a sophomore slump of an album. Not saying that I wouldn’t expect anything less than a great album, I’m just playing it safe. One thing we all gotta get straight is that is one of the greatest electronic albums of all time. For a lot of us, it showed the light to how epic and approachable electronic could be. For others it was the influence they needed to start producing music of their own. So to expect an album as good or even better is like getting Daft Punk to tell us what the fuck they’re doing with their lives…aka it’s highly unlikely. But hey! Bright side is that the album should be coming out in the Fall, and there’s no doubt in my mind that we’re in for a treat.
