Every year it gets harder and harder to leave Indio as Coachella draws to a close. This year is even worse, because they’re doing it all over again this weekend! Even though I wish I was back, I’m just happy to have been a part of one of them. The countdown begins yet again for next year, and I have these amazing artists to help hold me off until then. I wanted to do my last CoachellAltDelight on something more critical. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I haven’t had the essential time just yet to put together my complete schedule for the weekend. One thing for sure, though, is who I start with on Friday. In a world where the number of DJs exceeds the number of white girls dressed up as Indians at Coachella almost ten fold, the Ed Banger Records crew has always led the pack. Showcasing talents like: Justice, SebastiAn, the late DJ Mehdi, Mr. Oizo and even Daft Punk; this isn’t a label to f*ck with. Check after the jump for more!

Happy Sunday friends! It seems like just yesterday that I walked out of the Polo Fields beginning my countdown for Coachella 2012. And here I sit with less than a week to spare until I’m on my way back! Damn. For those of you who haven’t been, it’s quite literally impossible to overhype what’s in store for us next weekend. AH! Plus I’ll have my FlipCam with me. I like to upload everything I record right when I get home after the day. Ok. I gotta relax. Still have a few more days until our journey begins. Radiohead didn’t make sense to me for the longest time. I knew they had a massive, devout following but didn’t know why. All I knew for sure was that they were a sensation live, and it was until then that I realized what they’re about. Been obsessed ever since. And I’ve come to terms with the fact that I could never put into words what exactly you’ll get from seeing Radiohead live. Their music isn’t enough to formulate an opinion around. The videos online don’t do it any justice. Everything comes together in a way that I’ve only seen them create. And that was four years ago! I can’t imagine what they’ve added to it. Pretty comparable to when I saw Muse live…Just different. Do NOT miss them on Day 2!!

It’s that time of the month people. Well, not exactly that time, because this is something to actually look forward to: Jelly Filled Fridays! We got something special in store for you this month, though. Been putting off thinking about Coachella until this week, because it’s just never close enough! Tonight’s music will feature a special Coachella set from Groove Monsters’ Time Machine & ThreadSence‘s Noel B in the basement. Mainstage will showcase the funky talents of Chronic Mncher, G-MO and Jubei. It’s going to be a dance party, y’all. Check the giveaways and special info after the jump!!

HEY! Getting caught up on this a day late, because I’m just coming out of my coma from HARD LA…or at least I think I am? Was able to round up 40 of the homies to take with us, and it was worth everything that went into it! My only qualm with the night was Oliver‘s set. I don’t know if it was just me or what, but it should have been way louder for their slot. You can’t f*ck around with low volumes for disco sets. Need to feel every bit of that bass. PHILM and I went up front for A-Trak, and the bass was nearly overwhelming. As it should be! Whatever. Jack Beats new set was awesome. Fresh. Clean. A-Trak, I mean, just look at that picture! Imagine it inside the Wiltern. Ah. Another night for the books. Enjoy #89, yo!
