Alright let me catch my breath for a second, because I’m trying to contain my…..EXCITEMENT FOR HARD THIS WEEKEND!!! Damn. I lost it. Just when I thought I couldn’t be more off the wall about this weekend, I found out about these events:

I finally made it to my first Swimming With Sharks event when they had a disco takeover almost two weeks ago. I wanted an adventure, a weekend getaway from conservative-ass Irvine, and I can’t say I was fully prepared for what I got: rooftop pool between DTLA sky scrapers, massive dance floor, $35 champagne bottles, bacon cheddar fries, cabana-things with water beds you want to pass out on, beautiful people everywhere, beer garden, great music, BACON CHEDDAR FRIES?!?!! Serious awesome vibes though, I had a blast.
This Saturday is going to be even more special than usual. In honor of HARD Summer, Fools Gold and Bromance Records have brought out their guns for an epic DJ battle! One of C+A+D’s all time favorites (Treasure Fingers) will be representing F-F-F-F-FOOOOLS GOLD! Bromance should just bow out now. HA! I also feel like this has a very high potential of being a hang out for a lot of the artists on the HARD bill. We’ll seeee.

Next up: I guess having the amazing lineup at HARD just wasn’t enough. The cool dudes over at Gotta Dance Dirty have an after party for both nights! I just hope the special guest is actually special. They seem to have a reputation of holding their end of the deal but I feel like 9 times out of 10 the special guest at these kind of shows is Steve Aoki or LA Riots. Only one way to find out…
