We’re excited to say that the formerly-dubstep legend Skream will be headed to sunny SoCal on Sunday. The versatile DJ had a recent change of heart across the musical spectrum and will most likely be throwing down some groovy house and disco records. Although some are disappointed and confused in regards to Skream seemingly separating himself dubstep, a genre he helped pioneer, you should know you’re in for a unique set. I had the opportunity to catch this new side of Skream during his SKREAMIZM tour at the Avalon in Hollywood. I was thrilled with his ability to do so well in the complete different worlds that are disco and house.
Yesterday Skream released his brand new disco banger ‘Rollercoaster’. The song kinda just takes off and glides guided by Sam Frank’s vocals and an undeniably sweet bassline, which I don’t you’ll be able to sit still through with the proper soundsystem.
