It’s safe to say that I have never heard any band or musician that can produce such prodigious music consistently like Lemaitre. Their new EP, although brief, pushes every musical standard, whether it be production, singing or style. The new EP only features 4 tracks: Continuum, Fiction, Iron Pyrite, and Cut to Black, but you know what they say.. quality over quantity.
I’m already foaming at the mouth for Relativity 4.

Lemaitre changed up their style a bit; somehow they fused french funk, filth, glitch, indie and acid into a single 5-star banger.

Lemaitre changed up their style a bit; somehow they fused french funk, filth, glitch, indie and acid into a single 5-star banger.
For the past two weeks or so I’ve been jammin out to this low-key Norwegian duo, Lemaitre. Smooth riffs, hard kicks and refreshingly peculiar breakdowns, they’re a sort of indie electronica. These guys are bursting with creative genius; think Ratatat meets Royksopp with a lil Deadmau5 on the side. I can dig.
